About Janel Wall and the Pikes Peak Region

Janel is an over 45 year resident of Colorado Springs.  She has seen a lot of changes happen in the Springs since 1977!  Yes, even at that time Airport Blvd. didn’t go to the airport, Pikes Peak Avenue didn’t go to Pikes Peak, BUT Academy Blvd. went to the Air Force Academy (although the road wasn’t paved all the way!).

Besides her passion for real estate, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, exercise and papercrafts are but a few of Janel’s interests.  The beautiful, sunny weather of the Pikes Peak Region are welcoming to get outside and enjoy the sites.

Janel moved to Colorado from Indiana with her family over 45 years ago.  Colorado had long been a favorite place to play and moving here was a dream come true.

Weekend get-aways are an easy drive.  Vacation homes are an affordable luxury here with a number of Coloradoans owning both city and mountain homes.  Janel is experienced with residential, vacation and investment properties.

The Pikes Peak Region has so much to offer the homebuyer.  From tree-lined avenues to tucked away trails & cul-de-sacs there are views and vistas to enjoy.  You don’t have to move into the mountains to have deer, foxes, birds and other wildlife tracking through your yard.  These creatures grace the landscapes in many of the Pikes Peak Region neighborhoods.

Shopping in the Pikes Peak Area is a treat with everything from fine shopping experiences like the Shops at Briargate to indoor malls to huge centers with all the stores you love, plus there are quaint shopping experiences with new favorite stores to discover like in Old Colorado City.

The Denver Tech Center is an easy 30 minute commute from the Tri-Lakes area.

Colorado Springs is surrounded by five military installations.  The Air force Academy to the north, Peterson and Schriever Air Force Bases to the east, Fort Carson Army Base to the south and Falcon Air Station to the west.

The choices for schools in the Pikes Peak area are many.  Some of the most academically excelling public schools are in this area, plus there are many charter schools, private schools, even residential schools to choose from.

There is so much to do in the Pikes Peak Region.  If hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, skiing, boarding, hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities aren’t enough to make this a great place to live, we also enjoy many other pass-times like great movie and Imax theatres, cultural entertainment with music and the arts, historical places, professional and amateur sports, shopping, Cave of the Winds, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, a large parks system, plus large indoor amusement centers.  Your biggest challenge will be fitting all you want to do into your lifestyle!

Enjoy the benefits of your own corner of Colorado.
